Calling on Volunteers!

We always appreciate the efforts of volunteers, and there are a variety of ways you can help. We work with all volunteers to schedule their activities at a time that works for them, and is supportive of our staff.

• Docents provide tours, answer questions for visitors and students. We will provide docents with training materials which you may review, and then we encourage you to follow other docents to learn more about how they present the information. Docents nominally provide three one-hour tours per month, November through May.

• Gardeners help maintain the patio garden and grounds. Gardeners meet 1-2 times per month depending on the season.

• Office and Administrative helpers assist with filing, photocopying, processing 4th grade Mission project packet requests and other office projects.

• Event Assistants help with publicity, organization and setup, and hosting.

• Handymen are needed for repairs, electrical work, carpentry, etc.
